My Story

Welcome! My journey into colour analysis began during a profoundly difficult time in my life, when I unexpectedly lost my father and my long-term relationship ended two months later, all before I turned 40. I had to move out, find a new job as my freelance work had ended and I honestly felt like my entire world had collapsed and I was no longer the woman I used to know.  I felt lost, had gained a lot of weight, and was deeply depressed. One day, I stumbled upon an Instagram profile called Created Colorful. The  front woman, Lindsey, wore the most vibrant, stunning colours and she identified as a Warm Autumn. Intrigued, I started researching colour analysis.

Despite expecting to be a Deep Autumn or Winter, I was shocked when my colour consultation with Created Colorful revealed I was a Warm Autumn! It was eye-opening. I had always loved red and owned many red dresses, but I had never considered wearing bold saffron yellow, carrot orange, or terracotta. I adored teal but didn’t own anything in that colour, and to my surprise, deep purple, a colour I never liked, was one of my wow colours.

My journey began with a wardrobe overhaul. I threw away the black clothing and let go of pastels and baby blues. I got into natural dyeing with avocado and experimented with Rit and Dylon dyes, transforming clothes I loved to fit my new palette. As a size 18-20, finding flattering clothes was challenging, but now I was hooked on finding clothes in my palette. Over the next year, I completely revamped my wardrobe, obsessively watched colour analysis videos, and was amazed at the impact of knowing my best colours.

Feeling more confident in my clothes, shopping became fun and quicker. I also found it cheaper and more sustainable by shopping on Vinted and in charity shops. Even without losing weight, I felt good when I saw myself in the mirror wearing my colours. This transformation inspired me to train in colour analysis so I could help others, especially those experiencing  big life transitions, to find a simple way to look and feel great.

My mission is to help women feel confident, whether they’re returning to work after having a baby, overcoming illness or trauma, or simply curious about which colours suit them best. Everyone deserves to feel good, and colour is one of the quickest, simplest ways to achieve that. After all, we wear clothes every day.

I'm not your everyday stylist; I’m an ordinary woman who went through a tough time and found a new version of myself through colour analysis. I offer more than just colour analysis; I also provide a combined session where I help you clear out your wardrobe of non-palette items and offer shopping advice. Plus, I include an integration call six months later to check how you’re doing with your colours.

My goal is to see others thrive, look radiant, and chuck out the black! Let’s embark on this colourful journey together. If you’re curious about my professional background and training, below is more about my qualifications.

Training

Specialist in 12-Season Colour Analysis and Bespoke Colour Palettes

In March 2024, I completed my formal training with the Image Consultancy Company, a training organisation in seasonal colour analysis. Prior to my training, I spent years immersing myself in colour theory through art classes, colour mixing masterclasses, and independent study. This deep foundation, combined with my professional training, allows me to confidently guide clients through the 12-season system and beyond.

While my primary focus is on the 12-season approach, I create bespoke palettes for each client, ensuring their unique style and preferences are at the heart of the process.

My goal is to empower clients with a tailored colour palette that complements their individuality and lifestyle. Since completing my training, I’ve worked with a diverse range of clients, helping them embrace their true colours and transform their confidence.

As a woman of colour myself, I understand how important it is to see our unique features and skin tones celebrated. I’ve had the privilege of working with many different ethnicities, creating bespoke palettes that honour their natural beauty and individuality.
